The big bad wolf and little red riding hood. Luke looked hilarious!!! I was riding home in the car with the family and looked over at this cracked up look on his face.... I could not stop laughing and definately could not take him seriously.

96.9 Fall Frenzy

We had a blast at this concert!!! We saw Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz, Gavin Rossdale, B-52's, & Rob Thomas! Rob Thomas was the best and the last. Me and Shannon went early to get good "standing spots" and it was hot... we had our sunglasses on and everything. Later in the night we realized that neither of us had our sunglasses anymore....lol. We looked in the dark with our cellphones in between artists and I found Shannons remains.... lol. I was lucky enough for someone to give me mine back....Ha ha..

My favorite part was when Jason Mraz told Colbie he has a suprise for her in the middle of singing "Lucky". He sang a verse or two in spanish... He was really smooth... floored the crowd.

Okay this guy made me laugh SOOO hard almost the entire night... and I wasn't the only one snickering. This guy was really into the B-52's and almost old enough to be my dad. He was dancing with his shoes off and just being hilarious... Here is a clip... doesn't do justice.

What is this you may ask?

This is what used to be called time out. You see, our lovely 8 yr old Madelynne
is enjoying company lately by the stinker that runs around our house. It's
not very effective, when you are all laughing on time out.
Dang it! I'm going to have to get creative. Any IDEAS?

I'm sure it is something we will laugh about later in life. Can't wait!!! lol....

Our 10 Year Anniversary

So... we made it. By the hang of a thread. We decided to escape from our everythings for two days and go to a little town called Greer. We stayed in a cabin and enjoyed the lack of cell service. lol.... We biked and walked. Just explored really. It's beautiful there with a dash of cold, cold, 41 degrees! We even saw antelope, elk, mountain lion tracks! If you really want to know.... this was our very first vacation alone! I thought this vacation was a must considering it was the 10 year anniversary/reunion that almost never came. Brutal but honest.

We are both happy and so thankful to be together again and can't wait to move forward with our lives.
